- Our barn at the farm is almost completely finished. The workers are putting siding on it now.
- The house is completely framed and ready for the next step of the process. Whew, glad that's over....after uncovering lots of issues (mold in the fireplace, bad foundation, brick chimney set on wood, uneven floors, pipes in odd places including one that was a mouse super-highway into the kitchen). Anyway, glad that's over.
- We had our 7th calf born this week and this one's a tiny thing that stays well hidden.
- Greg's brother has stated he's ready to turn his life around. I don't talk about him much on this blog because in the past few years, he has made bad choices that have caused us to separate from him for a little while. But, on Tuesday after hitting yet another low, he's saying he's determined to get his life right. Time will tell, but we'll be here to support him as long as he's willing.
I'll leave you with one photo and a promise of more the rest of the week. This one is from our swamp adventure in Orlando.

I know what you mean...I always plan to post when I'm away but it is usually on the bottom of the list.
But that would probably involve planning and I just never know what I'm going to feel like blogging about on a Wednesday to schedule it on a Sunday. *sigh*
Oh well, at least I'll have a really long post when I get back, lol!
