With farms, come tractors, so he and dad have been shopping online for them and decided to go today to the tractor store (so help me, i don't even know the name of it!).
Another sentence I never thought would leave my mouth:
My husband is at the cattle auction.
Which, he was, on Friday. Then, on Saturday, we went to Nashville and he had a cheek full of sunflower seeds the whole way there and back. I asked him about his "habit" and he said he felt left out at the cattle auction, so he needed something between his cheek and gum....okay. Apparently the auctioneer did the entire thing with a dip.
Ah, the joys of living a country life.
We plan to close on the farm on Friday, and then the fun of demolition and renovation will begin.
For now, I'll leave you with a small sneak. I have more, but I'm waiting for the sun to come out, tomorrow (bet your bottom dollar)

How fun!!! You will love watching the calves this time of the year. They get all excited with the weather change and run with their tails sticking straight up. It is also funny to watch them think they are SO big and try to butt something!! You are making me laugh with your Greg stories. Oh - and you will soon learn all about tractors, cows, etc., and will definitely love it all!!

I had to laugh at your title.
I live on a 1 acre piece of land (in the country) and yes, we also have a tractor. Possible another 1 in the works. Why, you ask. That's what I want to know. The only thing we use it for is to load the kids in the trailer and take them for ice cream in the summer.
I hope yours will at least be a work tractor!

I'd give anything to be back in Nashville (where we moved from) shopping for a tractor! Instead, we are in the urban jungle, trying to figure out what to do with our John Deere in the event that we don't get a yard with our new place. Thanks for the sneak!
