last night

Last night, Greg came to bed with a real breathe-right strip on his nose. I asked him if it worked better than the redneck version and he said that it did. Surprising, I know.

He forwarded me this video this morning and I laughed so hard and would have laughed more if the dog hadn't looked so stunned. If you have 23 seconds, take a gander. And if you have 46 seconds, watch it twice.

Oh, and the farm name is still under advisement, but we've narrowed it to two choices:
  • Calico Farm (after Studio Calico, of course)
  • Pemberly Farm (after Darcy's residence in Pride & Prejudice, which my family absolutely adores, and since we're co-owners of the farm with them, I had to keep this in mind during the naming process)
Let me know what you think.

I like Calico Farm for the obvious reasons. However, I LOVE Pemberly Farm as it sounds like it has been in the family for ages to me. It has a very nice classic ring to it. I am sure you will be happy with whatever you choose!

I saw that video on Dooces site and it made LOL... great!

I would go with Calico Farm or Foster Farm. I think the name should mean something about your family. JMO

aw poor puppy- although i had a good crying laugh! I have 2 of my own so i see the dreaming thing all of the time- just not this intense! LOL
If I had a farm, I would def. use a name that had meaning for my family. :)

I love Pemberly Farm. I named my daughter Bennet after Elizabeth Bennet so I have a P&P bias :) Calico Farm totally works too though.

Calico Farm, I worry you would have to explain Pemberly like the poor Cornish Heritage Farms people, KWIM?

I really love that video also. I laughed so hard. I hope the doggie doesn't have a knot on his poor head.

I'm honestly surprised my dog has never done that.

I love Pemberly... I love Calico too, but I like Pemberly better, I think :)

Okay, Pemberly Farm gets my vote because I am I diehard Jane Austen fan. Before you brought that into the mix I was leaning towards Calico. It will be great whatever you chose. Just promise to get one of those great big gates with the name of your farm emblazoned across it!

Well, tell Greg I have him saved a Breathe Right coupon. I thought about him the other day when I was cutting them out. I should have brought it over on Tuesday when I was at your mom's! Oh well, he can save $1 on his next box. I like both farm names!! Although, Pemberly Farm has a very distinguished sound to it.... so my vote is with that one :)! We're so excited for you all!

As I'm laughing hysterically, I say to myself, "That's so horrible! Poor guy!" And then my laughter continues...

Thank you for sharing. :)
