a day late, but not a card short

Sorry, I was MIA yesterday and didn't post the first of the 14 cards I will be showing leading up to Valentine's day. Each card will use a base of white cardstock, a supply that I hope most have on hand. Also, the cards will all be cut to the same size: 5.5x4.25" (half a sheet of 8.5x11").

On several of the cards, I will be using Maya Mist, so if you don't have any and want to add some to your cart at Studio Calico, we will be shipping internationals on Tuesday and domestic on Wednesday, so until then, you can add for no additional shipping fee.

So, here's my card for yesterday (Feb 1):
Supplies: Ribbon (Creative Imaginations); Ink (Stampin' Up!); Punch (Marvy - probably vintage as I've had it since I was a child); Patterned Paper (October Afternoon)

I used a 3/4" punch to make the circles, then inked the edges. Punched a heart in the center on one of the circles, and used pop-up dots to adhere to the page. This also helped the circles to sit on top of the ribbon.

Now, my Feb 2 card:
Supplies: Mist (Maya Road); Butterfly (Heidi Swapp); Cloud shape (sticker by Sassafras); Typewriter + Stapler

To make this card, I simply used two cloud stickers by Sassafras. Sprayed with one spray of blue mist, removed the stickers, then typed and added the butterfly. Easy Peasy.

I'll be back later today with some photos of my weekend to post.

Seriously? 14 cards? You are my hero. I am sitting here right now trying to formulate an idea for a card and I am drawing blanks. Thank heavens you're here for inspiration!
