pulling up

It's officially time to lower the crib.

Then, I'll be able to sleep at night instead of worrying that Claire has somehow figured out a way to climb her bumper and propel herself over the edge.

She's very attached to this blankie. I believe one of our Studio Calico members gave it to her. A very generous gift that Claire absolutely adores. And, if she takes this to college, I'll be hunting you down! :)

Still, the tongue....ahhhhhhh.

Is it just me, or does she look Asian here?
Okay, maybe it's just me.

Does every kid in the world chew on their crib? I think so.

    What pretty bright photos! My little guy is still in his crib he's 3 1/2, he loves it and has never tried to climb out. My daughter, who's 11, was climbing out at a year old and had to go into a big girl bed by 16 month, it's funny how they are so different. Claire is so sweet!!

    She is so beautiful, April! How is she already big enough to have the crib lowered? That looks like the blankie I sent you- hee! Let me know if you need a back-up for the college years! ;) My son was attached to a small bear and we thankfully got a back-up for that and at almost 6, he still loves him. My daughter has a pink bear head blankie and same thing- she is 2 1/2 and must have it for sleep time. And the time that we left pink bear behind when we went on vacation?.....OY! Thanks for sharing pics!

    She is so so beautiful! My son still has a blanket and a 'baby bear' that he sleeps with! Up until recently he carried it all around the house with him all the time! BTW he's 6!

    Love the photos! What a special baby girl. I think every baby chews the crib. IKEA even have special clear plastic protection slips to put on the crib "fences" :D
